EFDC : Support for Carers
This is a series of carers support programmes that will run across different areas of the district for carers looking after loved ones living with dementia. The main objective of this programme is to inform carers of the local support available as well as explore creative ideas to support their own wellbeing as well as their loved ones. It is time away from a caring role in a safe, friendly and supportive environment. Each group will run once a week for 4 weeks and each session will be 2hrs.
The 4-week programmes will run from now through to May 2025 in Loughton, Epping,
Waltham Abbey, Ongar, Theydon Bois, Chigwell and Sheering.

How are services delivered?
Anyone in Epping caring for a dementia patient.
Community Transport meets the needs of local
people who for various reason are unable to use
conventional public transport.
