Loughton Voluntary Care - Social Activities
We offer social activities so that people can make their own new friends. These comprise a weekly Keep Well Club, a weekly Coffee Time walk and a monthly Fish and Chip Lunch. All are welcome at these activities. There is no charge and no need to book, although there you will need to pay for your fish and chips (about £10).You can also order anything else that the shop has to offer at cost. All are held at Loughton Methodist Church, 260 High Road, Loughton IG10 1BW.

Keep Well Club runs every Wednesday from 2- 3:30pm. There is is a 4-week programme comprising sing-along, seated keep-fit, gentle physical games and activities to stimulate the brain. This is followed by refreshments. There is no charge and no need to book.
The Fish and Chip Lunch is held on the last Saturday of every month 11.45am until 2pm. No need to book. Jjust arrive by 11:45am to place your order (about £10) or bring your own lunch for free.There is usually a pianist or a quiz and a free draw. Free beverages available.
The Coffee Time Walk leaves Loughton Methodist Church on Mondays at 10.30 sharp. The is no charge and no need to book.It's a circular walk of about 3,000 steps and takes about 50 minutes. The walk can be tailored and shortened to suit indivual needs.
