Loughton Voluntary Care – Good Neighbour
If you are spending a lot of time on your own and are looking for companionship, our Good Neighbour scheme matches volunteers with clients based on shared interests, hobbies and needs. After an initial meeting a volunteer will visit a client regularly, usually every week. There is no charge for this service. This service is availible only to IG10 residents and there are no exceptions,

When requesting a Good Neighbour it is particularly important to give information about any medical conditions, hobbies and interests, as this helps us match clients to volunteers. Our volunteers have completed a DBS check.
