Loughton Voluntary Care - Community Transport

Do you have difficulty using public transport ? Our main priority is to get older people to their medical appointments. Trips typically range from doctors and hospital appointments to local clinics, GP, dentist and optician surgeries. The service is delivered by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles to drive clients in need, to and from their appointment. They are happy to take a family member or carer, if needed.

Our drivers always give extra care including coming to the door, ensuring that you are safely seated in the car and  making sure you get safely to the correct department. They then wait whilst you attend your appointment and then drive you home safely. There is no charge but donations are welcome. Further details on this service can be found HERE
