Buckhurst Hill Money Advice Service
Buckhurst Hill Money Advice Service is a volunteer staffed service covering Buckhurst Hill and surrounding areas. We are affiliated to Community Money Advice - a national organisation providing debt advice. All our advisers are FCA registered and our organisation carries all the usual insurances and accreditation. We provide free debt advice and management plans for people within the community at no cost to the debtor or the creditor. We have links with many similar organisations serving those who are struggling with debt and living costs.
Due to high demand of our service, and a lot of third party referrals not engaging fully or failing to attend appointments, please can you ask clients to call us directly, as well as you making the online referral to inform us of the impending call. Please add a note in the referral to say that you have aksed the client to call us. We just want to make sure those people who are committed to engage don't have to wait any longer than necessary, and also that our volunteers don't waste time preparing for and waiting for clients who do not attend appointments. Who can use this service?
Our services are in demand from both local people and from people outside our area, and by referral from other agencies.
How are services delivered?
We offer face to face consultations at our office, and telephone appointments where appropriate.
