Epping Forest Foodbank
Epping Forest Foodbank (formerly Loughton Foodbank) is part of the Trussell network of Foodbanks across the UK. The Foodbank provides a minimum of 3 days emergency food to local people in crisis who have been referred by a frontline care professional. Volunteers greet and help signpost to further organisations to help resolve their underlying crisis.
Who can use this service?
How are services delivered?
Direct referrals into this service can only be made by emergency service workers (police/fire/ambulance).
If you are a professional not working for the emergency services but wish to refer a client, please email info@eppingforest.foodbank.org.uk to register.
Clients can visit one of our centres on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday, here they will receive not only 3 days of food but also signposting and support. We can also deliver to clients that are housebound, self-isolating or live more than 3 miles away from any of Distribution Centres.
