Integration Support

We provide one-to-one support, advice, and guidance to asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and ethnically diverse communities in the West of Essex. Our mission is to aid in their successful integration into the local community, reduce isolation, and enhance opportunities for better employment and education. Additionally, we offer initial interpreting and translation services. We are also a hate crime report centre, offering assistance to those affected by such incidents.

We offer a variety of projects designed to support and enrich our community:

  • Information, advice and guidance: Our trained case workers support individuals and families with a range of enquiries including benefits, housing, health provision, education, domestic abuse, hate crime, navigating life in the UK, employment and volunteering.
  • English Language Classes: 12- week, topic-based drop-in english class which are dsigned to help build practical language skills that can be used in daily life.
  • Women's Hobby Club: offers a safe, welcoming women-only space where women from all backgrounds can come together to build confidence, make friends, practice English, and enjoy creative activities in a relaxed and supportive environment.
  • Women's Health Club: free, women-only programme designed to support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of refugee, asylum-seeking, and migrant women. The club runs every Wednesday with 1-hour each for physical activity and health-focused conversation.
