VAEF: Ace Activities - Day Activities for people with learning disabilities

ACE Activities provides high-quality day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities across Epping Forest. Our inclusive, person-centred sessions promote independence, confidence, wellbeing, social inclusion and everyday life skills through meaningful activities. Participants can choose from Cooking with Confidence, Multi-Sports, Gardening, Upcycling and Carpentry, Art, and Singing & Signing. We support people to build friendships, develop practical skills and achieve personal goals in a safe, welcoming environment, encouraging choice, independence and active participation in their local community.

Who can use this service?

Our services are designed primarily for adults with learning disabilities and autism, although many activities are inclusive and open to anyone who would benefit from a supportive community environment. Sessions are availablefrom £10 per hour, with transport available on selected routes (subject to availability). ACE Activities is an Essex County Council approved provider and accepts Direct Payments as well as self-funded placements.
